The Sixth International Symposium
"BULK NANOMATERIALS:
from fundamentals to innovations. BNM-2019"
Ufa, Russia
September 25-27, 2019
Visa issues

Most foreign citizens must have a Russian visa to enter Russia (except citizens of the countries
with visa-free entry to Russia,
see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Visa_policy_of_Russia#Visa_exemption).
The symposium’s Organizing Committee is ready to provide an invitation to the symposium
attendees for the purposes of applying for a Russian visa. In order to get the invitation, please fill
in the form below and e-mail it, together with your passport scan, to the Symposium
Coordinator Ms. Tasha Sayapina at tasha.sayapina@gmail.com. In order to allow enough time
for invitation issue and visa application, attendees are requested to send the above-mentioned
form by April 30th, 2019
For most foreign countries, an invitation issued by the inviting organization (in this case, Ufa
State Aviation Technical University) is acceptable for visa purposes. However, for several
countries (the United Kingdom, Australia, Japan, the USA) such type of invitation is not
acceptable, and an invitation issued by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation
is required. Please note that it takes 30 days for the latter type of invitation (from the Ministry of
Foreign Affairs) to be issued.
Please note that the visa type that you are supposed to apply for is humanitarian visa. In case of
any questions or problems with a visa, please feel free to contact the Symposium Coordinator.
